// Sweet Lord S’mores //

I may have been on semi-hiatus for a year (I guess??) but hey! I’m back! I was busy with school and everything around this year as I was preparing for college and national exam. Now that I’m graduated and have a lot of free time, I’ll be writing again. And I wanna share several things that have been on my draft since last year.


I cooked! Again! After a while (well, this actually happened a year ago but I feel like sharing it anyway). Wasn’t really cooking but I did go to the kitchen and made something. I made something to break our fast and it was something sweet.

I made the famous s’mores dip. As usual, I adapted the recipe from pinterest. I changed some of the ingredients because of the availability in my country. Probably imported-supermarkets have it but I was too lazy to search for it.

I changed the graham crackers with Marie Regals’ biscuit and I wasn’t using Hershey’s chocolate bar. Instead, I was using Cadbury’s and Harvest’s (the cake bakery) chocolate bar.

I actually did follow every step of the recipe, unlike most of the time. I succeeded but it was too sweet in my personal opinion. I probably should have used dark chocolate instead of the normal ones (milk chocolate bars).

We didn’t finish the whole pan in one day. The next day I made the dip into a biscuit sandwich; biscuit-dip-biscuit. Then I kept it inside the refrigerator. Less sticky and less sweet though. 🙂

// Asparagus Wrapped in Slice Meat //

Sebelumnya aku sudah post ini di tumblrku. Namun karena aku baru saja pindah ke WordPress, aku akan repost semua post lama ku yang ada di tumblr. Termasuk resep ini.

Seperti biasa, aku menemukan resep di pinterest. Kali ini bukan dessertmelainkan appetizer. Chill yourself people who can’t cook, kalian tahu aku tidak pandai memasak jadi jika aku memasak berarti resepnya tidaklah sulit dan mudah diikuti (tidak berpengaruh kalau kita ubah-ubahmethodnya hehe). Resep ini very recommended apalagi bagi kalian yang pecinta daging dan sayuran, and especially FOR THOSE WHO ARE ON DIET (with no carbs or cheese btw).

Bahan utama yang dibutuhkan hanyalah asparagus dan lembaran daging atau bacon (baconnya tidak harus babi kok! Di Indonesia dijual bacon sapi) untuk digulungkan pada asparagusnya. Daging yang aku gunakan di sini adalah daging yang biasanya digunakan untuk sukiyaki atau shabu-shabu. Oleh karena itu, daging lebih baik dibumbui juga agar rasanya lebih menyerap. Jika menggunakan bacon, kalian tidak begitu perlu membumbuinya dikarenakan rasa asin yang ada pada bacon. Oh ya, sebelum asparagusnya dimasak, dicuci dan direbus sebentar ya fellas!
